Day 03
Today you will be taken on a private half day tour to Simon's Town, a visit to Boulders Beach to see the Penguins. In 1983 a pair of African penguins was spotted on Foxy Beach at Boulders. Since then the colony has grown rapidly. Boulders still remains the only place in the world where one can actually swim amongst the penguins as they have continued to invade more beaches. They are remarkably untroubled by people.

Visit the Just Nuisance site. Just Nuisance was the only dog ever to be officially enlisted in the Royal Navy. He was a Great Dane who from 1939-44 served at HMS Afrikander, a Royal Navy shore establishment in Simon's Town, South Africa. He died in 1944 and was buried with full military honors. Nuisance was allowed to roam freely and, following the sailors, he began to take day trips by train as far afield as Cape Town, 22 miles (35 km) away. Despite the seamen's attempts to conceal him, the conductors would put him off the trains as soon as he was discovered. This did not cause him any problems, as he would wait for the next train or walk to another station where he would board the next train that came along. Amused travelers would occasionally offer to pay his fares.

Lastly a stop at Scratch Patch to hunt for polished gemstones. This is a very unique experience where you can have loads of fun "scratching" for your favorite tumble-polished gemstones from thousands of polished stones that quite literally cover the floor! A wide variety of tumble-polished gemstones are found in the Scratch Patch, such as Tiger's Eye, Rose Quartz, Amethyst, Jasper, Agates and Crystals. If you're lucky, you might find virtually anything including Lapis Lazuli, Blue Lace Agate and some really exotic stones!

Day 04
Today enjoy a day of private touring, beginning with a trip up Table Mountain (weather permitting), followed by a stop in Hout Bay for an optional seal island cruise before arriving at the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Return to the V&A waterfront in time for lunch (own account), then spend the afternoon at the famous Two Oceans Aquarium.

Take a trip up Table Mountain in a cable car. The revolving cable cars give stunning views over the city. The summit of Cape Town's world-famous landmark is 1,086 meters/3258 feet above sea level and the mountain itself is a national monument. It is covered with a wide variety of wild flowers and is the natural home of the famous silver tree. From the summit you can marvel at the awe-inspiring 360-degree view of the city.

There will be a stop in Hout Bay. Off the coast of Simon's Town in False Bay lies Seal Island, a sanctuary for the Cape fur seal, and thus an ideal hunting ground for the seal's biggest predator, the Great White shark. On this day trip, we take you via boat to Seal Island and spend some time surface viewing from the boat (optional & for own account).

Continue on to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and to Cape Point. Visit Cape Point by way of funicular or on foot. The views from this point are spectacular. Look out for the baboons and enjoy some magnificent scenery and lunch.

After lunch the afternoon will be spent at the Two Oceans Aquarium. Get to know the ins and outs of 88 of the species currently on display at the Aquarium. Explore the vibrant and colorful world of the Oceans of Contrast: Indian Ocean Gallery. Meet the famous ragged-tooth sharks and our celebrity turtles at the Predator Exhibit. Don't be surprised to spot the occasional African penguin in the enchanting Kelp Forest Exhibit. For frogs' sake! Conservation and information, and plopping good fun, await at Frogs: Beyond the Pond.

Day 05
Today take a half day private tour to Spier to visit the cheetahs and eagles. Adults may also enjoy an optional wine tasting.

The Cheetah Outreach is an education and community-based program created to raise awareness of the plight of the cheetah and to campaign for its survival. The project was launched in January 1997 with just one hectare of land proved by Spier Wine Estate and two cheetahs. There will be a personal encounter with a Cheetah.

A visit to the Eagle Encounter at the Spier Wine Estate is a fascinating and never-to-be-forgotten experience. The Eagle Encounter seeks to rehabilitate birds of prey, including eagles, owls, kestrels, kites and goshawks that have been injured. Wherever possible the rehabilitated birds are reintroduced back into the wild. While these big birds are being healed, they are using the Eagle Encounter to educate the public concerning these amazing creatures. There is an Eagle/Falcon/Hawk training and a Falconry Display.
